Today, we have the results of Big Island Now week poll. No surprise that Hāpuna Beach came out on top as the favorite beach on the island. But check out how the other beaches in the top 10 fared. Tomorrow, our poll #4 will be about tourism.
In news, a Hilo woman was indicted after allegedly attempting to distribute methamphetamines; military dignitaries from around the word make a stop at Pōhakuloa Training Area; the lane closures for this week; and there will be a fire hydrant test in South Kohala.
And for entertainment, the Hilo Education Arts Repertory Theatre is presenting the Tony nominated musical comedy “The Prom” through April 2 at the East Hawaiʻi Cultural Center in Hilo.

Tony nominated musical ‘The Prom’ playing at East Hawai’i Cultural Center in Hilo
The Hilo Education Arts Repertory Theatre is presenting “The Prom,” the outrageous and heart-warming musical comedy that was the recipient of seven Tony Award nominations.
“The Prom” will run through April 2 at the East Hawaiʻi Cultural Center in Hilo. It plays Fridays and Saturdays at 7 p.m. with Sunday matinees at 3 p.m.
