The county is using goats to cut back on invasive vegetation at two cultural preservation sites in Kona, La’aloa and Puapuaʻa Point. The goats are owned by Mark  Crivello, founder and operator of 3C Goat Grazing.

Aerospace Design students from Makua Lani Christian Academy in Kailua-Kona are headed to Houston to present their prototype at NASA headquarters. NASA engineers may use their prototype in future lunar habitations as part of NASA’s Artemis program.

A Kona man is accused of breaking into various businesses and stealing various items, including cash, on Tuesday morning. He is currently facing charges.

Scientists from the U.S. Geological Survey’s Hawaiian Volcano Observatory are collaborating with academic colleagues to make field experiences in geology more accessible for people who have been historically excluded, specifically those with disabilities.
