Man accused of setting 79-year-old on fire charged

HONOLULU (KHON2) — In the early morning of April 12, a 79-year-old man was set on fire in Chinatown. Police arrested a suspect–Charles Burns. The Honolulu Police Department revealed on Thursday that the 29-year-old suspect was charged with arson and promoting dangerous drugs. His bail was set at $500,000.
Lanes closed on Kamehameha Highway after Salt Lake Blvd

HONOLULU (KHON2) — Officials reported that at least the two right lanes of Kamehameha Highway after Salt Lake Boulevard have been closed due to an accident. The accident happened in Halawa and involved an overturned vehicle on April 14. It is currently unknown how the accident occured.
