This is a Civil Defense message.

 

This is a COVID-19 informational update for Thursday, March 10th.

 

Moving forward with County of Hawaii Civil Defense coronavirus operations and to coincide with the level of the Coronavirus threat and the Department of Health reduction in reporting, Civil Defense will release COVID-19 statistics once a week on Wednesdays.

 

Civil Defense will maintain daily contact with the Department of Health to continue monitoring the level of coronavirus in our community and County sponsored community testing is scheduled to end on March 25th.   Your Civil Defense Agency has plans in place to resume COVID-19 response and testing should conditions change.

 

On testing, Community testing is scheduled today in Kau at Naalehu Community Center from 3 to 5 pm and in Hilo at Afook-Chinen Civic Auditorium from 3 to 7 pm.

 

For tomorrow, Friday, Community testing is scheduled Puna at Pahoa Community Center from 2 to 5 pm and in North Kona at Old Kona Airport Pavilion from 2 to 5 pm.
