This is a Civil Defense message.
This is a COVID-19 informational update for Tuesday, January 11th.
For Hawaii County, the Department of Health reports 208 new cases, 3688 active cases, and 38 persons hospitalized.
Please do your part, make it your responsibility to protect our community and follow the preventive measures of wearing face coverings, distancing, disinfecting your hands, limiting and avoiding gatherings, and staying home when sick. If you feel sick or believe you may have been exposed to a positive case, please get tested.
For testing the following sites are available today; in Hilo at the Afook Chinen Civic from 12 noon ‘til 7 pm and in Kona at the Aloha Kona Urgent Care from 8 am ‘til 4 pm.
