This is a COVID-19 informational update for Tuesday, December 21st.
For Hawaii County, the Department of Health reports 9 new cases, 241 active cases, and 6 persons hospitalized.
As you celebrate the Holiday Season, please be reminded that the preventive measures of wearing face coverings, distancing, limiting gathering sizes, and staying home when sick are key to limiting the spread of the virus. If you feel sick or have been exposed to a positive case please get tested.
The Department of Health recommends getting vaccinated, or getting a booster shot, to protect yourself, your family, and friends.
