This is a COVID-19 informational update for Saturday, December 18, 2021.

For Hawaii County the Department of Health reports 22 new cases with 212 active cases and 4 persons hospitalized.

Thank you for doing your part to protect our community and island from Coronavirus.  Please know that the threat continues as we have new cases daily. As we gather for the holidays, we must continue the efforts to keep Hawaii Safe.  It remains important that we follow the preventive policies of face coverings, distancing, and staying home when you are sick.

Getting vaccinated and following these preventive measures is key to stopping the spread of coronavirus.  Please accept this kuleana to help reduce the spread of the virus.
