This is a Civil Defense message.

This is a COVID-19 informational update for Wednesday, November 17th.

For Hawaii County, Department of Health reports 15 new cases, 268 active cases, and 6 persons hospitalized.

Mahalo for your efforts in helping to slow the spread of Coronavirus on Hawaii Island by following the preventive measures.

A Community Test Clinic is scheduled today in Hilo at the Afook-Chinen Civic Auditorium from 2 to 6 pm.

For a comprehensive calendar and list of all pharmacies and clinics providing vaccination and testing, as well as community vaccination and test events, please visit the Civil Defense website. www.hawaiicounty.gov

For questions regarding booster vaccination and vaccinations for 5 to 11 year olds, please contact your healthcare provider or visit the Department of Health website.
