This is a Civil Defense message.

This is a COVID-19 informational update for Friday, November 5th.

For Hawaii County, Department of Health reports 22 new cases, 361 active cases, and 13 persons hospitalized.

Mahalo for your efforts in helping to slow the spread of Coronavirus on Hawaii Island by following the preventive measures.  Know that we are seeing cases associated with Halloween gatherings and if you are feeling sick or that you may have been exposed please get tested.

On community testing & vaccination for today:


Test Clinics:

Pahoa District Park in Puna from 1 PM to 3 PM.

Old Airport Pavilion in Kailua-Kona from 1 PM to 5 PM.


A vaccination clinic is scheduled at Malama Market in Puna Kai Shopping Center in Puna 10 AM to 3 PM.

For questions regarding booster vaccination, please contact your health provider or visit the Department of Health website.
