This is a COVID-19 informational update for Tuesday, October 12th.
For Hawaii County, Department of Health reports 6 new cases and 569 active cases, with 12 persons hospitalized.
Mahalo for your efforts in helping control the spread of Coronavirus on Hawaii Island. Through your efforts of following the preventive measures and getting vaccinated our numbers are trending downward.
A Community Testing and Vaccination clinic will be offered today in North Kona at the Old Kona Airport Pavilion from 9 in the morning ‘til 2 in the afternoon.
The next Community Testing clinic will be Wednesday in Hilo at the Afook Chinen Civic from 2 ‘til 6 in the afternoon.
