This is a COVID-19 informational update for Saturday, October 2nd.
For Hawaii County, Department of Health reports 47 new cases and 763 active cases, with 21 persons hospitalized.
Thank you for continuing your efforts to keep Hawaii safe by following the preventive measures of face masks, social distancing, limiting gathering sizes, and washing your hands frequently with soap and water. You are making a difference.
For today, Saturday, a Community Vaccination Clinic is scheduled in Hilo at the Edith Kanaka`ole Stadium from 8 AM to noon.
Community Test Clinics are scheduled in Hilo at the Afook-Chinen Civic Auditorium from 9 AM to 1 PM and in South Kohala at the Waimea District Park from 8 AM to noon.
