This is a COVID-19 informational update for Tuesday, September 14th.
For Hawaii County, the Department of Health reports 41 new cases and 1,354 active cases, with 58 persons hospitalized.
Your help is needed to slow the spread. Please continue to follow the preventive measures of wearing face coverings, maintaining physical distancing, limiting gatherings, and keeping activity to essential needs only.
Community Vaccination and Testing Clinics are scheduled today, Tuesday at Volcano Cooper Center from 9 AM to 4:30 PM and at the Kona Aquatics Center from 11 AM to 4 this afternoon.
Please take this time to get vaccinated.
Know that other locations are conducting vaccination and testing. For a comprehensive calendar and list of all clinics and pharmacies providing vaccination and testing, please visit the Civil Defense website www.hawaiicounty.gov.
