Hawaii Governor David Ige urges visitor and residents alike to curtail travel to Hawaii during the surge of COVID-19 cases in the state.

In his online briefing to the “Honolulu Star-Advertiser” and Hawaii media, Governor David Ige asks residents and visitors alike to postpone their visits to Hawaii.

According to the governor, “many of the travel-related COVID infections stem from residents who travel elsewhere, get infected, and return…”

Governor Ige urges residents and visitors “to restrict travel to essential business purposes only.”

Over the past few days, Hawaii’s COVID-19 cases have ranged between 400 and 700 a day.

Please take advantage of the free COVID-19 testing sessions offered by county governments and pharmacies.  Please mask up and stay clean.
