This is a COVID-19 informational update for Wednesday, July 28th.
For the County of Hawaii, the Department of Health reports 18 new cases with 400 active cases, and 10 persons hospitalized.
We are seeing an increase in Coronavirus cases which is expected with the arrival of the Delta variant and fewer restrictions on travel and gatherings. You can help reduce the spread of Coronavirus by following the preventive policies of face coverings, physical distancing, and limiting gatherings and gathering sizes.
COVID testing and vaccination are available today at the Afook-Chinen Civic Auditorium in Hilo from 3 to 6 this afternoon. You can pre-registration for testing at COVIDFREEHAWAII.com.
