This is a COVID-19 informational update for Friday, July 16th.
For the County of Hawaii, the Department of Health reports 27 new cases with 149 active cases, and 9 persons hospitalized.
We continue to see an increase in the number of COVID cases on Hawaii Island. As you gather to enjoy the summer with friends and family you should continue to follow the safe practices of face masks indoors or when social distancing is not possible, distancing, and gathering sizes to help reduce the spread of Coronavirus.
