This is a COVID-19 informational update for Saturday, June 12th.
For the County of Hawaii, the Department of Health reports 46 new cases with 4 persons hospitalized.
On Tuesday, June 15th, all restrictions on inter-island travel will end. Coronavirus testing, Safe Travels Hawaii registration, and quarantine exemptions for inter-island travel will no longer be required beginning June 15th.
For Trans-Pacific travel, Safe Travels Hawaii registration, pre-travel coronavirus testing, or proof of vaccination in Hawaii remain in effect and are requirements for exception to the mandatory 10-day quarantine.
The Department of Health has scheduled a vaccination clinic for today, Saturday from 9 AM until 2 PM at Kealakehe Middle School in Kailua-Kona.
