This is a Civil Defense message.

This is a COVID-19 informational update for Monday, June 7th.

For Hawaii County, the Department of Health reports 3 new Coronavirus cases and is currently monitoring 190 active cases with 4 persons hospitalized.

A Coronavirus test and vaccination clinic is scheduled on Tuesday at Lokahi Park in Hilo from 9 in the morning to 1 in the afternoon.

There are two vaccination clinics scheduled on Wednesday in Hilo.  One at the Hilo Farmers Market from 9 in the morning  to 1 in the afternoon and one at the former Pier 1 location in Prince Kuhio Plaza from 3 to 7 in the evening.

The Department of Health, clinics, and pharmacies offer Coronavirus vaccinations on a regularly basis.  By getting vaccinated you are helping to keep your family and friends safe.  For information regarding vaccinations, please contact the Department of Health at 300-1120. You can also visit the Civil Defense website for a list of all clinics and pharmacies providing vaccinations and testing.
