This is a Civil Defense message.
This is a COVID-19 informational update for Wednesday, May 12th.
The Department of Health reports 1 new Coronavirus case and is currently monitoring 60 active cases with 1 person hospitalized in Hawaii County.
As a reminder, following the preventive measures of face coverings, distancing, and limiting gatherings to no more than 10 people indoors and 25 people outdoors helps stop the spread of Coronavirus. Please accept this kuleana to help keep Hawaii safe.
On testing, there are no tests scheduled tomorrow, Thursday. The next scheduled test will be on Friday in Kau at the Pahala Community Center from 9 to 3 in the afternoon.
