This is a Civil Defense message.
This is a COVID-19 informational update for Tuesday, May 11th.
The Department of Health reports 3 new Coronavirus cases and is currently monitoring 60 active cases with 2 persons hospitalized in Hawaii County.
As a reminder, following the preventive measures of face coverings, distancing, and limiting gatherings to no more than 10 people indoors and 25 people outdoors helps stop the spread of Coronavirus. Please accept this kuleana to help keep Hawaii safe.
On testing, there are 2 tests scheduled tomorrow. One in Kau at the Kahuku Park in Ocean View from 9 to noon. One in Hilo at Afook-Chinen Civic Auditorium from 3 to 6 in the afternoon.
