This is a Civil Defense message.
This is a COVID-19 informational update for Monday, May 10th.
The Department of Health reports 0 new Coronavirus cases and is currently monitoring 62 active cases with 2 persons hospitalized in Hawaii County.
As a reminder, following the preventive measures of face coverings, distancing, and limiting gatherings to no more than 10 people indoors and 25 people outdoors helps stop the spread of Coronavirus. Please accept this kuleana to help keep Hawaii safe.
On testing, there are 2 tests scheduled tomorrow in Puna. One in Pahoa at the HUB from 9 to noon and one at Makuu Farmers Market from 1 to 5 in the afternoon.
If you have questions regarding vaccination, please contact the Department of Health at 300-1120. You can also visit the Civil Defense website for a list of all clinics and pharmacies providing vaccinations.
