This is a Civil Defense message.
This is a COVID-19 informational update for Wednesday, May 5th.
The Department of Health reports 2 new Coronavirus cases and is currently monitoring 60 active cases with 2 persons hospitalized in Hawaii County.
On testing for tomorrow, Thursday, there are no tests scheduled.
The next scheduled tests are on Friday when a test is scheduled in Hamakua at Honokaa Sports Complex from 8 to 11 in the morning and a test is scheduled in South Kohala at the Waimea District Park from 9 to noon.
The County sponsored test schedule has changed. There will be one test in Hilo at the Afook-Chinen Civic Auditorium on Wednesdays from 3 to 6 in the afternoon and one test in North Kona at the West Hawaii Civic Center on Saturdays from 9 to noon.
