This is a Civil Defense message.

This is a COVID-19 informational update for Monday, May 3rd.

The Department of Health reports 4 new Coronavirus cases and 2 persons hospitalized and is currently monitoring 63 active cases in Hawaii County.

On testing for tomorrow, Tuesday, there are no tests scheduled. 

The County sponsored test schedule will change on May 5th.  There will be one test in Hilo at the Afook-Chinen Civic Auditorium on Wednesdays and one test in North Kona at the West Hawaii Civic Center on Saturdays.    

If you have questions regarding vaccination, please contact the Department of Health at 300-1120. You can also visit the Civil Defense website for a list of all clinics and pharmacies providing vaccinations.
