This is a Civil Defense message.
This is a COVID-19 informational update for Wednesday, April 28th.
On testing for today, three tests are scheduled. One in Kau at Kahuku Park in Ocean View from 9 in the morning ‘til 12 noon, one in South Kona at Konawaena High School from 2 ‘till 5 this afternoon and one in Hilo at Afook-Chinen Civic Auditorium from 3 ‘till 6 this afternoon.
The next scheduled test is Friday when a test is scheduled in Puna at the Pahoa District Park from 9 ‘till noon.
The Department of Health reports 1 new Coronavirus case and 2 persons hospitalized and is currently 79 active cases in Hawaii County. The Department of Health also reports that vaccination slots are available for everyone 18 years-of-age and older at vaccination PODs and at local pharmacies. Please visit the Department of Health website to register for an appointment.
If you have questions regarding vaccine availability for your age group, please contact the Department of Health at 300-1120. You can also visit the Civil Defense website for a list of all clinics and pharmacies providing vaccinations.
