This is a COVID-19 informational update for Sunday, April 25th.
On testing for today, Sunday, there are no tests scheduled.
The next scheduled tests are on Wednesday when two District Tests are scheduled. One in South Kona at Konawaena High School and one in Hilo at Afook-Chinen Civic Auditorium.
The Department of Health reports 6 new cases and 4 persons hospitalized today and is currently monitoring 95 active Coronavirus cases in Hawaii County. The Department of Health also reports that vaccination slots are available for everyone 18 years-of-age and older at vaccination PODs and at local pharmacies. Please visit the Department of Health website to register for an appointment.
If you have questions regarding vaccine availability for your age group, please contact the Department of Health at 300-1120. You can also visit the Civil Defense website for a list of all clinics and pharmacies providing vaccinations.
