This is a COVID-19 informational update for Sunday, April 11th.
On testing for today, Sunday, there are no tests scheduled.
The next scheduled test is on Wednesday when two district tests are scheduled. One in South Kona at the Konawaena High School. One in Hilo at the Afook-Chinen Civic Auditorium.
The Department of Health is monitoring 132 active cases in Hawaii County; there are 6 new cases reported today with 4 persons hospitalized. Coronavirus continues to be a threat in our community. It remains important that residents and visitors continue to follow the preventive policies of face coverings, distancing, and limiting gathering sizes to no more than 10 people indoors and 25 people outdoors to stop the spread.
