This is a COVID-19 informational update for Tuesday, January 19th.
The Hawaii Department of Health reports six (6) new cases of Coronavirus on Hawaii Island with five (5) persons hospitalized. There have been no deaths reported in the last three weeks.
For your information, The Hilo Medical Center (HMC) and North Hawaii Community Hospital (NHCH) are offering vaccine registration to individuals who are 75 and older. Please visit their websites for more information and to register. Additional vaccination opportunities will be announced as DoH expands their efforts to vaccinate our community.
