KAILUA-KONA — Clearer weather is coming to West Hawaii skies in the coming days, but forecasters are advising that the season for storms isn’t over yet.

20 arrested for DUI

During the week of July 29 through Aug. 4, Hawaii Island police arrested 20 motorists for driving under the influence of an intoxicant. Two of the drivers were involved in a traffic accident. One of the drivers was under the age of 21.

Palani Road reopens after accident

KAILUA-KONA – Palani Road was closed for several hours Tuesday morning while Hawaiian Telcom replaced a downed pole.
