Kathleen “Kate” Davis, 63, of Hilo died Jan. 17 at Hawaii Care Choices Pohai Malama Care Center. Born in Waialua, Oahu, she was a tax preparer for H&R Block, mother and sister. Private services. Survived by, daughter, Elizabeth Crosson, Ph.D., of New Mexico; brothers, Mike (Debbie) Crosson of Kalopa, Tom (Jan) Crosson of Washington, Terry (Mary Ann) Crosson of North Carolina and Matt Crosson of Hilo; sister, Mary (Carl) Fujio of Hilo; nieces and nephews. Arrangements by Dodo Mortuary.

Ex-cop appeals conviction
