This is a Civil Defense Message for Friday, January 25 at 3:20 in the afternoon.

The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory for the Big Island Summits effective at 3:00 pm today through noon on Saturday.  A Wind Advisory means that winds of at least 45 miles per hour, or gusts of at least 55 miles per hour, are expected.  If your plans include a trip to Mauna Kea or Mauna Loa during this time you should exercise caution.

Thank you and have a great weekend.
