Comment: Tropical Storm Walaka has formed south of Hawaii Island. Here’s the latest information from the “Honolulu Star-Advertiser:
“As of 11:05 a.m., Walaka was located about 650 miles south of Honolulu with the potential to bring showers and thunderstorms to the Hawaiian isles. Walaka was packing maximum sustained winds of 40 mph.”
Forecasters say the storm could bring rain and thundershowers to the State of Hawaii.
