Flags to fly at half staff for fallen officer

HONOLULU – Gov. David Ige has ordered that the United States flag and the Hawaii state flag be flown at half-staff at the Hawaii State Capitol and upon all state offices and agencies as well as the Hawaii National Guard in the State of Hawaii, from sunrise to sunset on Saturday.

Hawaii possibly in path of Hurricane Hector

HILO — Hurricane Hector is forecast to strengthen as it enters the Central Pacific, likely late Sunday.
