According to the Hawaii County Civil Defense Agency, Highway 19 along the Hamakua Coast has been reopened.  Here’s the official message:

A message from COUNTY OF HAWAII

Hawaii Police Department reports HWY 19, which was closed earlier in both directions at the 21 to 22 Mile Markers due to a traffic crash, is now reopened at this time.

Please drive with caution.
