HONOLULU — Women lawmakers at the state Capitol want the House and Senate to update rules on handling sexual harassment complaints — a push that comes amid high-profile misconduct allegations nationwide and after a former House speaker resigned after acknowledging inappropriate behavior toward women.

Police arrest 21 for suspected DUI

Hawaii Island police arrested 21 motorists for suspected drunken driving between April 2 and Sunday. Four of those drivers were involved in a traffic crash and one was younger than age 21.
