A message from COUNTY OF HAWAII

This is a Civil Defense Message for Thursday, March 29 at 11:40 AM.  The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center reports a 7.2 earthquake occurred near Papua New Guinea.  Based on all available data, a Pacific-wide tsunami is not expected, and there is no tsunami threat to Hawaii.  Repeat, a Pacific-wide tsunami is not expected and there is no tsunami threat to Hawaii.
