The state is offering precautionary TB tests to approximately 80 persons who may have been exposed to the disease.
According to state health officials, a series of meetings has been scheduled to keep the school community informed on the incident:
“Informational meetings will be held in the cafeteria at Lihikai Elementary School at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 21 for school employees and at 6 p.m. for families and the general public. TB screening at the school is scheduled to begin on Nov. 27.”
