Norm Chow fired as head coach of University of ‎Hawaii‬ football team

Chris Naeole has been named interim head coach for rest of season.

The firing came after UH-Manoa suffered a devastating loss to the Air Force Academy Saturday by a score of 58-7. Athletic Director David Matlin appointed Chris Naeole as interim coach head coach for the remainder of the football season. Matlin told KHON 2 News that "Ultimately, we feel this decision is in the best interest of the university and we need to move in a different direction." Aloha, Russ.
