The microbiology labs and classrooms in UH’s Synder Hall are more than a half century old. Much of the equipment is either outdated or broken.

I can truly appreciate the repair problems at UH-Manoa. Even when I was a graduate student at UH during he early 1970s, Synder Hall was getting a bit decrepit and worn. That wasn’t the only building showing its age. Along side the then-new Hamilton Library, there was Hawaii Hall and the University Lab School buildings across the street which were then already too old to be of much use. Perhaps, someone ought to investigate how UH-Manoa maintenance funds are used. The campus is falling apart. Aloha, Russ.
