Some Kailua residents may be sleeping a little better after the capture of a coqui frog.

According to KHON 2 News, the small, loud frog was found near a home on I’ana Street in Kailua, Oahu. State agriculture officials believe the frog caught a ride from Hawaii Island on an uninspected plant or personal item. The population of noisy coqui frogs on Hawaii Island has grown to the point where eradication is impossible. Aloha, Russ.
