The plan to convert the financially troubled University of Hawaii Cancer Center into the research unit of the John Burns Medical School at UH-Manoa makes a lot of sense. The UH-Manoa medical school would absorb the Cancer Center’s cost and keep most researchers on the staff and ongoing projects in the pipeline. Aloha, Russ.
