Russell Roberts‘s insight:

A major climate change study conducted by UH-Hilo will continue, now that second phase funding has been received.  The funds are part of an original $5 million grant issued in 2009 and cover a five-year period.  According to “Hawaii247.com”, the results of the research are expected “to produce a deeper understanding of the impacts climate change will have on the geographic range as well as social and symbiotic interactions of species in Hawaii and the broader Pacific region.”  Aloha, Russ.
