HAWAII POLL: Hanabusa takes early lead in Senate race – Hawaii News Now

According to the latest Hawaii New Now/Star-Advertiser election poll, U.S. Congresswoman Colleen Hanabusa leads incumbent Hawaii Senator Brian Schatz by 8 percentage points for the Democratic Primary nomination for the U.S. Senate.  A survey of 528 likely voters in the 09 August 2014 primary election shows Hanbusa getting 48% of the votes, while Schatz receives 40%.  Meanwhile, Hawaii State Senate President Donna Mercado Kim leads a crowded field to replace Hanabusa in the U.S. House of Representatives.  Of course, the lead in any of these races could change numerous times before the primary election.  Aloha, Russ.
