Shark researchers are back to tagging tiger sharks around the coasts of Maui.
A University of Hawaii professor and his graduate students are tagging tiger sharks around the island of Maui. The program uses tags containing satellite tracking devices that allow researchers to follow tiger sharks through the state. The tagging program is part of an effort to determine why shark attacks have increased around Maui over the past several months. Aloha, Russ.
