New Hope Church launches campaign to counter lawsuit

Something doesn’t add up here. On one hand, the New Hope Church says it has improved the property it rents from Farrington High School and has a contract to use the property to help the Kalihi community.  But a community activist claims the DOE has no record to substantiate how much the church has paid for the use of public school property.  The whistleblower says this is a violation of the separation of church and state.  This case will be resolved in court.  Aloha, Russ.
