Artist outraged over hidden mural

Some Native Hawaiian legislators, including Hawaii Island’s Faye Hanohano,objected to the depiction of Hawaiians and their culture in the art piece.  Apparently, the artist stepped on the toes of a few powerful or influential people and the mural was covered.  All of this at taxpayer expense, of course.  One of these days, we’ll wake up and realize we’ve been "had."  Aloha, Russ.
