Red Flag Warning issued for leeward areas of the islands

The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning until 6 p.m. Sunday for mainly leeward areas of the Hawaiian Islands.

A combination of dry conditions and strong breezes has raised the fire danger to leeward sections of all islands. The Red Flag Warning will remain in effect through Sunday evening. Aloha, Russ.
