HILO, Hawaii (AP) – The Big Island’s economic outlook is improving thanks to the statewide tourism boom.

This is good news as long as our visitor industry stays competitive and air fares remain stable.  The state should not depend on one industry to keep us afloat economically.  Aloha, Russ.
