Russell Roberts‘s insight:
Most of the funds will go to two projects: The reintroduction of the alala or Hawaiian Crow to the wild in the Ka’u District. Control of invasive plant species, such as the Fiya tree, in the Ka’u Forest Reserve. Both of these projects will involve habitat rehabilitation, the building of a new aviary, and the control of animals pests such as goats, sheep, and pigs. Aloha, Russ.
