EXCLUSIVE: Ewa Beach woman lands in hospital after guilty plea
Hawaii News Now
A trip to the courthouse turned into a hospital visit for an Ewa Beach woman after she admitted that she operated a major ponzi scheme.
According to FBI agent Tom Simons, Suzette Anquay is accused of taking $800,000 from her victims. She will be sentenced next February. Just a cautionary note–if something sounds to good to be true, it usually is. Anquay’s claim that she would return a profit of more than 15% on the victims’ investment is clearly bogus…this sounds like a typical "Ponzi" scheme. People should conduct research before they invest in any financial venture. Aloha, Russ.
