A 17-year-old Kona girl finished her swim across the Kaiwi Channel between Molokai and Oahu Sunday, making her the youngest known swimmer to complete the physically demanding feat. According to an (RT @mvorsino: Wow!

Quite a feat for Kealakehe High School student, Leahi Camacho. She started at 7:30 p.m. Saturday from Laau Point, Molokai and finished at 12:30 p.m. at Oahu’s Sandy Beach. Aloha, Russ.
