Manned Mock Mars Mission Wrapping up in Hawaii
The Hawaii Space Exploration Analog and Simulation (HI-SEAS) is nearing the end of its 120-day mission on the northern slope of Mauna Loa.
This experiment on the slopes of Mauna Loa should give scientists valuable insights on how humans function in an islolated environment. The trip to Mars, should it ever be done, will be arduous, lonely, and potentially deadly. Aloha, Russ.
